Blender Recipes

All blender recipes are for one pound batches.

Here are two recipes using incredients easily found at your local grocery store, excepte for the lye which has to be ordered on line unless you happen to have a soap supply store near you.

Non Vegetable Soap

6 ounces of Olive Oil 
10 ounces of Lard 
2.1 ounces of Lye 
6.4 ounces of Water 
.16 ounce Soap Fragrance if desired


Pure Castille Olive Oil Soap 

16 oz. pure olive oil 
2 oz. lye
6 oz. Water

Bubbly Milk Soap

2 oz. Castor Oil
7 oz. Coconut Oil
6 oz. Palm Kernel
5 oz. Cocoa Butter
15 oz. Olive Oil
15 oz. Lard OR Palm Oil
15 oz. Shortening 

8.85 oz. (lye) approx. 5% superfatted
21 oz. water or water/milk
(you can use all water or 1/2 water and 1/2 milk. Add lye to water only, stirring until dissolved and then add the lye water, room temp, to the warmed oils, stir it in and then add the milk.) 

Basic Lotion Bar

3 oz. beeswax
3 oz. shea or cocoa butter
3 oz. oil (your choice of coconut, sweet almond, sunflower oil, jojoba, etc.)
1 teaspoon essential or fragrance oil
Melt beeswax and cocoa or shea butter together in top of double boiler or put in microwave for a few minutes (check after each minute). Remove from heat and continue stirring about five minutes.

CPHP

7.2 oz coconut
9.6 oz Lard
1.2 Palm oil
4.8 oz Crisco
1.2 castor
9.12 distilled water
3.473 Lye

AT end of cook mix the following three ingredients together and then add to soap:
1.5 TBS glycerin
1 TBS Powdered sugar
1 tsp. Titanium dioxide

Un-scented Coconut

30% Coconut
30% Olive oil
20% Canola
20% Palm oil
Discount your water ratio by amt. of coconut oil used.
I used 4 oz. coconut milk so I subtraced 4 oz of water.

At trace add the coconut milk
FO of your choice
